Advertising Sales Management on Salesforce Platform is GA
Starting June 2025, Advertising Sales Management on Salesforce Platform application makes a big move to the Salesforce Core Platform, leaving behind its old managed package setup. This shift means a more seamless experience, better performance, and tighter integration with everything else you’re running on Salesforce.
If you’re still running Advertising Sales Management on Managed Package or planning to start an implementation there, here’s what it means for you. ASM on Managed Package is a purpose-built solution that lets publishers launch an ad-sales-ready setup right inside Salesforce, then customize it to match their unique sales processes. It’s designed to give you a faster start, with industry-specific tools already baked in, so you can focus on tailoring the system to your business rather than building from scratch.
That said, it’s not yet clear what the migration path from the managed package to the new standard platform will look like - and most likely, it’ll require a completely fresh implementation. This is definitely something to keep in mind as you plan your roadmap.
If you’re curious about everything the new Advertising Sales Management application has to offer, from performance improvements to deeper Salesforce integration, check out the full update details here.
